Annual Budget

Each year, the Town Council holds a budget retreat wherein goals and priorities are set for the upcoming fiscal year.  Town Staff, led by the Manager and Assistant Finance Director, then compile these goals and priorities into the proposed budget for the next fiscal year. 

The Manager will present the proposed budget during the May council meeting, and the Council will then hold at least one work session to discuss the staff recommendations.  The Council will then hold a public hearing to receive public comment on the budget during the month of June, and may hold several public hearings or other workshops to make the best decision for the Town.  The public is invited to offer comment at the public hearing and is more than welcome at all work shops and the annual retreat.
